tony on ncis, who is the biggest film nerd evar and is continously explaining his endless movie.references, still manages to take time every episode to tear down mcgee for being so into nerdy shit like //computers// that his hacking skills have literally saved all their lives on multiple occasions.

when the stargate universe team found an ice planet, eli made a hoth joke, and everyone just stared at him like he was an asshole for making a joke that //everyone alive would get//.  and that was on syfy!
